Chance the Rapper Just Married!! And Incoming Baby?!
Chance the Rapper is finally married to his long term girlfriend, Kirsten Corley. Chance and Kirsten first started dating in 2013 and had a daughter named Kensli in 2015. Though sadly, the couple decided to part their separate ways in 2016. They then got back together a year later and many months later Chance posed the big question where she then said yes and they became engaged on July 4, 2018. Their big day was then made to be on March 9, 2019.The couple was married at the Pelican Hill resort in Newport, California where they invited around 150 guests. The actual wedding took place overlooking the ocean which was really pretty. The ceremony went well, their little daughter Kensli was said to have ran up to Chance during the ceremony where he then proceeded to hold her. Their wedding was said to have cost a lot of money. An average cost of a wedding at the Pelican Hill is around $125,000, where they were to send so much money there wasn't any left to spare. They deserve though seeing how happy as a couple they are. Seeing this long term couple finally get married excited so many fans were they waited to see Chance put that ring on Kirsten.
This wasn't all the exciting news that Chance had coming for his fans and for all his loved ones. On March 14, 2019 Chance the Rapper posted on his Instagram saying that they are pregnant again and its a girl! I guess little Kensli will get a sister! Fans like myself have grown to love Kensli and when Chance announced he is having another baby girl right after his wedding many fans have grown overjoyed by all this new information. Chance shared out this information on Instagram as a way for him to connect to his fans, like myself, and understand what is going on in his life. Though this may be a big deal to many people those who do not know much about Chance the Rapper would not care about this amazing information. I love Chance the Rapper and am so happy for this new chapter(s) that has begun in his life! The fact that he was willing to share this personal information with his fans and leave it out there on social media, shows another side to him. Unlike most celebrities, Chance is fine with opening to others about his life. And I think that’s the benefit of social media. It gives one a way to steer away from having a private life, but also connect with their peers. Fans feels an emotional connection because through social media, they feel included with being aware of what is going on in the lives of those they admire. Overall, I guess you could say social media gives fans the opportunity to meet artists and celebrities indirectly, where they are able to see one's life behind the fame and fortune.

ReplyDeleteYesssss! I am so happy for Chance and cannot wait to see his new baby girl. I fell in love with Chance the Rapper the instant I heard his music and he was actually the first concert I ever went to. When I heard the news about their engagement I was so happy for him, Kensli, and Kirsten. One thing I love about him is his connection with his fans. He keeps us updated and is not scared to share his personal life with us, which proves how strong his bond is with his fan base.
